THE APPETIZER
Fresh off another adventure to Canada where I spent the weekend with our Costa Rica crew in the fresh outdoors and on the water wake-surfing.
There was an amazing moment during the trip where I realized that everyone in the house is or was at one point an entrepreneur. I remember thinking how despite the diversity in our entrepreneurial journeys, many of the personalities were recurring, while at the same time being completely unique from one another.
I thought more on this, and realized that this is not unique to just this group and everyday I come into contact with others who follow these repeating archetypes.
Today, I am sharing those archetypes, which I am hoping help you figure out, not only which one you are, but how to interact with the others, how to double down on your super powers and become more aware of those blind spots.
BUT! Before you dive in, hereâs some comedic relief of us all wiping out wake-surfing.
Now sit back, relax, and enjoy as always
I hope you enjoy my sauce.

THE MAIN COURSE:
The 6 Entrepreneur Archetypes.
I have quote I have always told other when they doubt if they can start a company or launch a product is: âThere is an entrepreneur in all of us.â
However, you donât have to start a company or launch a viral product for it to be part of who you are. Even if your name is not on the door or a press release, there are moments in work and in life when you are called to think BIGGER, take ownership, and make decisions where all the stakes are yours.
Those moments bring out the entrepreneurial side of you. They are when you shine the brightest and feel the most pressure. Sometimes they lead to your biggest winsâŠ..Other times they spark your toughest setbacks.
Over my own entrepreneurial journey, I have met a lot of different types of people. None better than the others, but most fall into a familiar set of patterns. I started breaking them down to understand how I could work with them, learn from them, or in some cases avoid the ones I just do not mesh with.
Just like in life, knowing your strengths and blind spots is key. And so is recognizing the people who can inspire you, challenge you, or keep you grounded.
This is my own personal take on what I have come up with to classify everyoneâs 6 entrepreneurial archetypes. You might be one or you might be a blend of many, but I can assure you, you will see these archetypes in every boardroom, coffee shop, and kitchen table business plan.
